LUXOTTICA - Street Eyewear

Street eyewear
This project was born during NABA Product Design Master, in collaboration with the LUXOTTICA brand, for the "Luxottica Design Challenge" workshop. The focus was to address Ray-Ban to the new generations, inspired by the style of street art. The project was developed in team and the biggest challenge was to think outside the box and express personal creative side. During this journey we had the opportunity to work with Luxottica’s Eyewear Designer experts; they followed the project step by step.
Team work: Lucrezia Dall'Aglio, Rosalinda Vecchi.
The target audience is Generation Z, who love to express themselves through clothing, specifically: Streetwear. To enhance this style, two frames have been designed, one for sight and one for sun, which attract attention; an intertwining of angular and rounded shapes, enhanced by bright colors.
Inspired by Virgil Abloh and the streetwear world, two representative elements of this contemporary style have been added to the collection: fabric belt and chain, which form the lanyard.
The lanyard can be detached from the glasses and attached to the case, becoming a purse. The shape of the glasses case takes up the sinuosity of the letter B of Ray-Ban.
